A Run for All! (ages 6+)
The Wild Rose Women's 5km is a walk/run is over to women and girls ages 6 and up.
Please note, spectators are not permitted to walk or run with you or be on course. We know some of your your little ones are excited to see you and want to run with you however, for insurance purposes they cannot (but they can make cool signs and stand along the route!)
There will be an aid station on course with water and electrolytes.
Note: This event is NOT timed.

There are no refunds however, you can roll over your registration to 2026 for a fee of $50 BEFORE May 1st, 2025 or transfer your entry to another racer for a fee of $20.

It says run or walk. Is it ok if I do a run/walk?
We welcome you to complete the 5km however you wish! Walk. Run. Walk/Run. We are just excited to have you join us and get active!

What is the minimum age to do this event?
We have set the age at 6 years. While we appreciate your child may be physically capable of doing this event, we ask they wait until they are 6 years (as of event day).
I can no longer race, can I get a refund?
Refunds:
In the event that you can no longer race for any reason (medical included), we are not offering refunds in any capacity. See Rollovers.

PRE-RUN QUESTIONS
Where and when is Package Pick-up?
Package pick-up will take place at the Badlands Community Centre (80 Veterans Way, Drumheller, AB)
on May 30th 6pm - 7pm
Packages will also be available at race site May 31st from 10:30am - 11:45pm
When will I get my timing chip?
This event is un-timed and therefore there is no timing chip.
RUN QUESTIONS
What are the surfaces for the run courses?
The surface is a combination or pathway, pavement and gravel. A regular runnings shoes is most suitable for this course.
Do bib numbers need to be worn during the run?
Yes, bib numbers need to be worn on the run. They need to be worn on your FRONT.
Will you have Aid Stations on the run?
Yes, there will be an aid station on the run with water and electrolytes.
What is the official run course cut off time?
All athletes must complete the run course by 1:00pm (60 minutes)
POST RACE
Where is the lost and found?
The lost and found will be located at the announcer's booth/finish area. After race day contact tritstaff@gmail.com for lost and found. All unclaimed lost items will be donated after 30 days.
